Second French commemorative coin 2 euro "Liberté"

Hi everybody.

I am just back from the MDP ( Monnaie de Paris)

The above-mentioned coin was supposed to be issued to-day.

If they tell the truth it will not be issued before probably the end of july, due to "technical reasons".

Sorry for the delay. I'll go there from time to time and keep you informed.

Following unofficial news received today, second french coin issue will be postponed to september.

Hi,

I placed a phone call to the Monnaie de Paris a few minutes ago.

They confirmed me officially that they don't have yet the "Liberté "coin (BE, BU and "common coin").

They close oon july 31 until August 25 for holiday.

They may have it before...if not only in september.

I keep you informed.

Wikipedia announced several months ago that the italian CC ( EXPO and Dante ) would be issued 2 months ago...

They are available only from to-day.

The information I have are from the issuing institute.

I phoned once again to-day and they said " sorry, we d'on't have yet these coins".

As they are supposed to sell them, what should they say they don't have it?

They don't want to earn money?

Hi Friedrich and everybody.

When I phoned to the MDP a few days ago they said that they had not yet the LIBERTE coin but it may arrive before they close for the holiday (July 31st.)

If not only when they open again ( August 25).

So, maybe they have it now.

Anyway I plan to go there to-morrow and if they have it...i'll know it.
