Sad news

Post by luit »

This morning I received very sad news.
Our longtime forummember and one of our most loyal forumsponsors Jean Pinceloup known as szmata passed away recently.
I once met Jean in Paris, and consider him as a good friend.
He always tried to help everyone with getting the French coin issues.
I will miss him very much!
I hope he has found peace after his illness.

Hi

Szmata was a Character I had known for a long time. Hundreds of PMs on several sites, and a few hand-to-hand exchanges, but we were just passing the informations. I knew he was very ill, I had seen him two months ago very weakened, aware of his condition, but taking it well. There were 10 days, I wanted to see him in the hospital, and he asked me not to come by. A few days later he told me he was better and was thinking of going out .... You're going to leave a void ............

What a so bad news, like many user of this forum I had to exchange many emails, it was always a great pleasure to exchange with him.
We also share many informations about french issuing coins.
We lost a friend and a reliable swap partner.
