Some times ago I received a email from Vatican's UFN.
They explain that after a full update customer list and web site we must send personnal datas to build new customer list.
I think all the informations they ask are exaggerate, The procedure is very complicated. Send a web cam capture with ID card, confirm fiscal number and so on.
I never saw a official institude asking for so personnal datas just to sale coins !
So I decide to cancel my account.
Because of custom tax, prices from Vatican are now highter than local coin dealer.
And you, what did you think about ?

Re: Vatican's customer list update
Personally, I do not collect Vatican yet, and probably will decide to ignore it completely as I do not really respect neither Vatican as a state itself nor their way of issuing coins.
But we all different, maybe someone is in love with Vatican.
Good luck for everyone to complete your collections

Re: Vatican's customer list update
This is complicated for a mint registration .
I didn't done but I read many post on french forum.
You must have a webcam , reccord you with both side of your ID card. Fiscal number ios also asked.
When registration is finish you will received email confirmation with identification code, but as I read, several time this email never arrived and you must do it all again.
For me continue to be registred customer to Vatican is useless, when added price coin+ shiping cost+ EU tax, final price is higher than coin dealers .

Re: Vatican's customer list update
Hi,
I also cancelled my account, this is absurd.
Never saw something like this.
Yes, i am also better of buying it from a coindealer, cheaper as from the UFN.
By the way: also cheaper: buying coins San Marino from local dealer overhere.
Because of limited amount (2 coins), shippingcosts and extra tax, coins are to expensive!
So bye, bye UFN and DFNS!
Best regards,
Rudy

You got a confirmation? Or just registered?
