I had several good swaps with Jean.I knew him as a reliable, kindness and helpfull person. Before Corona, I could almost have seen him in his hotel near Munich before he drove to Croatia the next morning. Unfortunatelly he was very tired after the long trip and asked me if we can postpone our meeting on an other time. I never had a chance to see him face to face.
Few weeks ago he wrote me that he is feeling a little bit better. Today my hopes are all burst like a balloon.
It was a pleasure swapping coins and writing emails with you, Jean.
Rest in Peace
Thank you very much to all my exchange partners. :respekt:
Please do not forget to give a good recommendation after every successful exchange. Thank you very much!
Really bad news .. we spoke last month and I didn't want to believe it when he told me. A great friend and a person always available to everyone beyond the euro collection.
I have just read this chat¡ I knew he was ill and he had told me he couldnt continues with our swaps. But I read a post of him after I was very surprised . He always try to help me, and he transmited he is a bonhomme, I am sure he is resting in peace
I knew something was not alright, as I used to receive messages from Jean, and he didn t reply to my last messages...
I never met Jean in person but always wanted if I had the chance. I was actually his very first swap on this forums more than 10 years ago. I remember him asking me 'how to do a swap'.
That was the first of many many swaps completed and a very reliable friend. Although we never met face to face.
I am going to miss Jean. R.I.P.
