Bonjour Daniel,

Cordialement, Indy.

Allthough we still prefer english as language we will not warn anymore if somebody uses another language.
With the Google translate button it is quite easy to translate a thread with foreign language to your own language or another language you can understand.
When somebody is not good in english language it might be very difficult for another user to translate that "bad english" to his own language.

Hello Luit,
I respect this democratic policy, but I don't think that we should allow writing threads in different languages.
I believe that this leads to total confusion.
It's true, we may help to ourselves with Google translator, but based on my experience, it is totally unusable when you are translating texts to Slovenia language, for example...except from English...
It is better if one user translates his post into English one time, as if X users translate his thread X times...
This is only my opinion, of course...:-)
Elvis.

Elvis,

As long as the member can write english reasonable I agree that is better.
But when somebody has to use Google translate to write english it is better to keep the original language.
Indeed this means more users have to translate, but in the other case there will be 2 translations needed to get it in your home language. I think most of us can read english, but I'm sure some need translation.

Therefore the policy is writing in English when you can write english reasonable, perfection is not needed.
If you cannot write English, any other language is better than not writing at all.

A tous merci. A+Daniel
