Can anybody provide me with information concerning the mintage of
Malta 2€ 2013? According to some sites, the mintage is 0.5 million; others
say 0.45 million.

Is the actual mintage official already?

Do you mean the total mintage or the mintage of the normal 2€ CC (not proof or bu) ?
