in this topic I'd like to put the cost of registered post to abroad (in Europe) for each country.
About Italy fees of registered mails to Europe are the followed: (from last 01 july 2009).
less 20 gr: € 4,40
from 20 gr to 50 gr: € 6,40
from 50 gr to 100 gr: € 7,00
from 100 gr to 250 gr: € 8,50
from 250 gr to 350 gr: € 9,50
from 350 gr to 1 kg: € 13,00
from 1 kg to 2 kg: € 19,00

Please note that before on 01/07/2009 they were less too expensive:
less 20 gr: € 3,35
from 20 gr to 50 gr: € 4,25
from 50 gr to 100 gr: € 4,50
from 100 gr to 250 gr: € 5,30
from 250 gr to 350 gr: € 6,00
from 350 gr to 1 kg: € 8,50
from 1 kg to 2 kg: € 12,00

Here are the German postage fees.

unregistered envelopes (registered letters: + € 2,05):
less 20 gr: € 0,75
from 20 gr to 50 gr: € 1,45
from 50 gr to 500 gr: € 3,45
from 500 gr to 1 kg: € 7,00
from 1 kg to 2 kg: € 16,90

And for our roll swappers sending huge amounts of coins.
DHL registered parcel (ensurance up to € 500):
from 2 kg to 5kg: € 17,00 (online: 15,00)

For Ireland to Europe

up to 100g is €7.05
up to 250g is €7.85
up to 500g is €9.20
up to 1kg is €11.85
up to 2kg is €15.10

21 g - 100 g = 4,26 €
101 g - 250 g = 5,72 €
251 g - 500 g = 7,85 €
501 g - 1.000 g = 11,18 €
1.001 g - 2.000 g = 16,07 €

Priority = 0,44€
Insurance = 1,25€ for each 65xDTS (65xDTS is around 72€)

This costs stand for registered letters with added service (priority, insured, advice on delivery). 1g - 20 g is 5 cents cheaper - 3,73€

Normal registered mail costs:

1 g - 20 g = 3,11 €
21 g - 100 g = 3,55 €
101 g - 250 g = 4,77 €
251 g - 500 g = 6,54 €
501 g - 1.000 g = 9,32 €
1.001 g - 2.000 g = 13,39 €

Also insurance is cheaper if no service is added: 1,04 € for every 65 DTS=73 €.

It's true...my prices are for registered letters with add-on service...because I always send coins at least registered with priority add-on service, in majority of cases also insured.
But I don't think there's any difference. I'm afraid that prices which Numizmatik wrote are VAT excluded, so real prices are 20% higher...which means prices that I wrote...
