Hello!

I have one question about Malta 2024 2€ coins, hope that some of you can clarify me one thing.
In the Malta coins issue program 2024 I found that 2€ will be issued only in BU type (except BU set)

One dealer offer Malta 2024 coins in coincards and also like loose coins(they are in plastic bags). He wrote that about 32.500 coins will be in loose coins type

May be some of you have any information about these loose coins type issue?

Thank you an advance
Best regards
Dmitrijs

Each 2 euro cc 2024 from Malte have same mintage: 85.500 coins each but I don't have detail about quality.

@Nikn

I have also seen a dealer specify the follwoing mintage figures:
Cittadella (BU) : 47.500
Cittadella (Unc) : 32.500
Bee (BU) : 47.500
Bee (Unc): 32.500

The Malta coin center says there are total 80,000 of each listed under 'coincard' https://mcusercontent.com/037dc02dc867b ... 024.03.pdf

So not quite sure what the situation is.
I guess very lucky (or well connected) people will get there hands on a roll $$$

In German Numismatic Forum I read:

August 27th, 2024
According to reports from here, only 47,500 coins were packed into coin cards and 32,000 were auctioned loose to dealers to the highest bidder.

in a former post one user says:
64,000 invidual coins (32,000 pieces of each 2€ coin) will be auctioned by the MCC to the highest bidder dealer at a starting price of €8 each.
