Finally today Bank of Greece announced 2016 Numismatic Program.
It's pretty much the same as previous year...


I. COMMEMORATIVE CIRCULATION COINS

• €2 Commemorative circulation coin: “150 YEARS FROM THE ARCADI MONASTERY HOLOCAUST” (maximum issue 742,000 pieces)

• €2 Commemorative circulation coin: “120 YEARS FROM THE BIRTH OF DIMITRI MITROPOULOS” (maximum issue 742,000 pieces)


II. COLLECTOR COINS

• €200 GOLD COIN DEDICATED TO: “GREEK CULTURE – PHILOSOPHERS – DEMOKRITOS” (maximum issue 1,000 pieces)

• €100 MINI GOLD PLUS COIN DEDICATED TO: “GREEK MYTHOLOGY – THE OLYMPIAN GODS – POSEIDON” (maximum issue 1,200 pieces)

• €50 MINI GOLD COIN DEDICATED TO: “CULTURAL HERITAGE – OLYMPIA” (maximum issue 1,500 pieces)

• €10 SILVER COIN DEDICATED TO: “GREEK CULTURE – PHILOSOPHERS – DEMOKRITOS” (maximum issue 2,000 pieces)

• €10 SILVER COIN DEDICATED TO: “GREEK CULTURE – NEW COMEDY – MENANDER” (maximum issue 2,000 pieces)

• €6 MINI SILVER COIN DEDICATED TO: “50 YEARS OF TELEVISION IN GREECE” (maximum issue 1,500 pieces)


III. SPECIAL EDITIONS

• Coin card – blister with the €2 Commemorative circulation coin: “150 YEARS FROM THE ARCADI MONASTERY HOLOCAUST” (maximum issue 6,500 pieces)

• Coin card – blister with the €2 Commemorative circulation coin: “120 YEARS FROM THE BIRTH OF DIMITRI MITROPOULOS” (maximum issue 6,500 pieces)

Nothing official yet... probably first is the 10€ Democritus at the end of the month (according to rumors).
