Interesting! The same is true with the ATB(America the Beautiful) Parks quarters. On forums, many cannot get the quarters at banks. I can, but it depends where you live and is very random.

Unfortunately, the same. I also hear the same complaints on a Dutch coinforum. So not your coinseller or swapper is to blame, but the Dutch Mint (KNM). They didn't deliver the good quality coins we are used to.

Hello Bernard,

I have read the same on other forums, but....... I can explain it, I have some coin card and the coins are really perfect, better than some UNC from other countries, but BU coins.... are dirty, very, very bad coinage.... I do not like them.

I´m thinking coins from rolls would be better than coins from bags, am I not?

Regards

Since I was in Amsterdam for the last two days, I was hoping to get some TYE coins from the mixed rolls you can get at the banks. Well, out of 14 (!) rolls from 3 different branches of AMR BANK at Amsterdam Airport, I didn't get ***any single coin*** :( :( :( I checked 350 2€ coins, but no luck :( Last year I was luckier, got around 10 2€ Erasmus CCs...
My wanted euro coins:

Even on the Dutch coinforum www.munthunter.nl until now nobody reported a find of this coin in circulation.

@ Tuno, I don't know wether coins in rolls are better of quality than those from bags. The rolls are being sold at a higher price through the KNM and are also slightly more valuable as a roll than as loose coins, so I don't think a lot of people will open their roll.

Not quite Luit, I found 1 piece in circulation over a week ago through a shopowner I know. (you could see it in the topic "coins found in cirulation"). But indeed, this seems more a lucky found, as no-one else found one at this point.
