Hi swappers,
I came to an agreement with swapper DANIS9870 from Greece, agreed to swap some 2 euro CC coincards.
Today i recieved an envelope with a A4 print with a translation english-greece, but NO coins!!!
He gave me a trackingnumber, which is on the envelope, but as i say just printed A4 translation inside the envelope.
He just told me he had to remove the coins, and that he told me (which he did not) he is telling me now.
Because i had a bad feeling about this swap and i could not find him in the goodswapperlist i decided to wait and see what i would recieve before i sent him my part.
My question is: does anybody had the same kind of experience with this swapper???
So i want to warn you all for this "swapper"!!!!!!
Best regards,
Rudy

Re: Bad experience with DANIS9870 from Greece
Hello Rudy,
I have the same experience with him.
Very strange communication during swap negotiations, a lot of contradictions in his words... At the end, when I decided that I will wait with sending my coins until I will get his coins (he didn't sent his "coins" insured, as we agreed), he come out with strange story.
One day after he shipped envelope, he told me that I will receive empty envelope. Explanation was that he asked post clerk to unpack envelope (I'm quite sure that this is not possible after one day...coins should be already on the way by then), remove coins, repack and send empty envelope...!?!
I got the same info from another swapper, so already at least three of us with the same experience.
Elvis.

Hello Elvis and Rudy.
I don't understand one thing... you all received an empty envelope with a letter saying that he didn't send the coins?
And all of you 5 wait first to receive his coins before sending?
I don't understand why if somene wants to cheat, to pay money for sending an empty envelope!
It's really strange.
Fortunately you haven't lost any money.

Re: Bad experience with DANIS9870 from Greece
Hi Vangelis,
I know exactly what you mean, is very strange!
On the envelope he sent me there was for 3,28 euro stamps on it!??.
Maybe he thinks: if i can give a registration number the other swapper will also sent his coins, just to make him thrustfull.
In my case it would have been for about 25 euro on coins, so he would have recieved my 25 euro for 3,28 euro, good investment!!.
In the meantime a lot of other swappers (eurohobby) had the same experience with this "swapper".
I think we have 9 or 10 swappers he tried to cheat.
So please BAN HIM FROM THIS GREAT FORUM.
Thank you and best regards,
Rudy
