The malta 2012 CC Majority has a variety like this:

It has the mintmark of the KNM (Netherlands) and the amount is approximately 50.000 coins.

The value in the market is between 25 and 28 euros.
Do you know it?

This coin with mintmark is(normaly) only available in the annual BU set .

you got reason with "normally" because I know one case that the conmemorative coin is "normal".

On my side I receive a offer to bought the marked coin alone in caps for 24€ , probably someone exchange coins from BU set by a UNC one...

A German ebay seller from Dresden is selling sets without 2 euro CC and 2 euro CC BU separately in large numbers.
He also offers a free capsule for the 2 euro CC if you buy a 2 euro CC from rolls to make the set "complete".
It seems that that gives him better prices, collectors sometimes have a strange behaviour....
You can say this is bad of course, but on the other hand it is good for collectors of only 2 euro CC that are interested in the mintmark variation and it also is good for collectors of complete BU sets who are not interested in the different mintmark, they can get a "complete" BU set for about 15-20 euro this way....
